Linda Jean Waldstreicher

Linda Jean (Nunn) Waldstreicher passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 9, 2026, at the age of 77. Born in San Diego, CA, to Lorna and Herbert Luton on January 25, 1949, she was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Linda possessed a quiet strength and warmth; she radiated kindness.

Linda’s greatest fulfillment was being a mother and loving her family. She and her husband, Mike, raised five children together. While her children were young, the family lived in California, where she provided daycare for neighborhood children to help support her family. Eventually, a job relocation moved the family to Texas.

Much like her mother, Linda had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening. She also loved animals (dog and another dog), racing cars, dancing, music, arts and crafts, sewing, knitting, decorating, and planning social events. However, cooking for her large family and doting on her eight grandchildren brought her the most joy. Linda married Larry Waldstreicher on July 3, 2009, and they lived in The Woodlands, TX, enjoying many years of love, laughter, and adventures together.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Larry Waldstreicher; her children, Adam Nunn, Rachel Reyna (Richard), Sarah Lavino (Greg), and Paul Nunn; and her grandchildren, Nathan Reyna (Hannah), Avery Chadwick (Nathan), Madison Reyna, Anthony Lavino, Isaac Reyna, Adam Irving Nunn, Jesse Reyna, and Ian Lavino. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lorna and Herbert Luton; her brother, Jim Luton; her late husband, Michael Lee Nunn; and her son, Matthew James Nunn.

Linda's family finds great peace and comfort in the assurance of eternal life. They rejoice in the promise that she is in the presence of her Savior and look forward to the day they will see her again. Linda is cherished and will be missed by all who had the joy of knowing her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home & Cemetery, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384, US, on August 1, 2026, from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
