She resided the majority of her life in The Woodlands, Texas, where she was an elementary school teacher. At the age of three, her father moved to Pasadena, Texas, where he remarried to Judith Margaret Cooper.She graduated New Caney High School, and then she attended Sam Houston State University, where she received her bachelor's degree in kinesiology. She taught at Smith Elementary School for 12 of her 17 years as a P.E teacher. In 2008, Lisa joined the Army Reserves in Conroe, Texas. She attended Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, where she completed her boot camp and Military Occupational Specialty(MOS). Lisa served as an 88 Mike (truck transporter) for the 7/6 Calvary Regiment which was shortly renamed to 1/158 Aviation Regiment (AH-64 Apache).Her main responsibility was to fuel the Apache helicopters, which is also known as a 92 Fox. She was an E-4 / specialist whose duty was also to counsel soldiers.
That year, she met Rudolph Angel Rubalcava in the same Army Reserves unit. They were part of Echo Company 3/5. In 2009, they married and in 2012, they had a daughter, Lilly Grace Rubalcava. She is preceded in death by father, Mike Haynes and brother, Johnny Haynes. She is survived by daughter, Lilly Grace Rubalcava,mother, Judith Cooper Haynes, and brother Matt Haynes. You will be greatly missed, and loved by many. You are home, find rest in the Lord. We thank you for your service.

A Graveside Service will take place at Forest Park -The Woodlands Cemetery, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodland, TX 77384, US, on July 31, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
