Dr. Louis Labartino of The Woodlands, Texas, passed away on July 23, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He was 90. Formerly of Manhasset, N.Y. and Mattituck, N.Y., he practiced as an anesthesiologist for 40 years in the Bronx, N.Y., and Englewood, N.J. Before entering private practice, Dr. Labartino served as a medical officer in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Rosanna (nee McLaughlin); his son Jim Labartino and significant other, Ellen Kosloff of Sound Beach, N.Y., his three daughters, Doreen Triplett and husband Clif, of The Woodlands; Diane Barnaby and husband Deane, of Floral Park, N.Y.; and Gina Labartino and husband Per Moi, of Upper Montclair, N.J., as well as 10 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Dr. Labartino’s passions in life were first and foremost his wife and family, his love of good food, wine and the friends to share them with and his love of God and Country. Visitation will be held from 1-8 P.M., Friday, July 27, 2012 in the Magnolia Room at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 I-45 South, The Woodlands, Texas 77384.
