Dear Girls, I haven't seen you since you were about 4 and 6, in Fort Worth. Your mother was one of my dearest friends when we were in high school. The last time I saw her was at Bill Frost's Memorial service in May. She was a lovely and sweet person, and even though I didn't see her often, I was glad she was in the world! I am so sorry you lost her, but at least her death was quick and painless. Please know that my memories of her are sweet! Love to you and your children. She enjoyed Phyllis's boys so much!Lynn Terrell Gafford

Karen and Phyllis, I knew your mom all through high school. We were in the same carpool. Tonight a group of high school "ya ya"s are meeting and will enjoy telling many stories about slumber parties at your mom;s house. I wish you both the strength to walk through the next few months. I sure your faith will carry you. Love from a voice from the past. Karen Haun Barlow

A truly wonderful person I enjoyed her visits to have her car serviced for I knew she would have the latest updates on her grandsons baseball careers. She loved her family and i know they will miss her. She was a good friend and wonderful soul.

Phyllis and Karen, I wanted to let you know how much I thought of your mother. She was my mother's best friend for the past 31 years, and for that she was truly blessed. I was lucky enough to be with both of them on their Emmaus Walk and will hold that time as special in my heart. May the Lord comfort you in your sorrow.

My heart hurts after hearing about Ms.Brown. Her and Mac were my clients at the Dermatology clinic. I loved them both so much. Every time they came in my stomach would hurt from laughing so much. I could be having the worst day and she would always cheer me up with her smile and warmth. I'm going to miss her so much. She was such a sweet person. My sincere condolences to her family.

Karen and Phyllis,
Where to begin, your mother holds a very special place in my heart. I will never forget the first time I met her when I was the superintendent for Post Building Group. Then getting the pleasure of building her a pool. 22 years of talking about family, grandsons, getting to sit in the stands on opposing sides for baseball games. I could keep going on and on. I will miss her so very, very much. You both have been truly blessed to have such an awesome mother. I have been blessed to call her my friend.
