Marian A. Share

Marian Share, 85, of The Woodlands, Texas, went to be with the Lord on November 11, 2013 after a very long illness. Marian was born April 25, 1928 in Groton, New York, the daughter of the late Wilfred and Helena Adams. She grew up in a large family with five older brothers and two sisters. Prior to relocating to Texas in 1986, Marian had resided in Groton, New York her entire life. She worked as an administrative assistant for Smith-Corona Typewriter Company for 20 years where her husband was also employed.

Marian was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother and great grandmother. She was an active member in a gardening club, she also loved cooking and entertaining. Marian and her husband Jack relocated to Texas in 1986 to be near their son Michael and their grandchildren. Marian enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking Sunday dinners and being involved in the activities of her grandchildren.

Marian was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Jack Share; her brothers, Richard Adams, Donald Adams, Ward Adams, Russell Adams, Robert Adams and her sister, Helen Collier.

Marian is survived by her son, Michael Share and wife Patricia; her daughter, Diane Marlette; her granddaughters Denise Sedorus, Paula Gilvarry, and Brenda Stephenson; her grandson, Scott Carruthers; her sister, Barbara Daley; 4 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Edward’s Catholic Church, 2601 Spring Stuebner Rd, Spring, TX 77389, on Monday November 18, 2013 at 10:30 a.m.
