

Marjorie Lind Bryan, 86 years young, of Windsor Lakes, Conroe, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday morning, January 8, 2017 at the Vitas Hospice Hospital. Mrs. Bryan was born July 27, 1930 in Cotulla, Texas to Lucian and Lillian Lind.
She married Harry Hawkins Bryan July 11, 1948. They led a very exciting life in the oil field from the southern tip of Texas through the coastal plains of Texas and Louisiana. She was always an avid bridge player and golfer. Marj was a supporter of many volunteer organizations. She assisted with the Montgomery County Fire Station's #4 and #6, set out USA flags for veterans, not to mention always being helpful to her friends and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harry Bryan; grandson, Chad Elliott "Hoss" Bryan; grandson-in-law, Brandon Billingsley; brother, Buster Lind; sister, Jo Lind Neal.
She is survived by her son, Sonny and daughter-in-law, Cheryl Lisa Bryan; daughter, Cheryl Kay and husband Don Fullen; sister, Martha Ruth Sheives Bates of Kerrville; sister-in-law, Colleen Lind of Pharr; six grandchildren, Bryan (Hombre) Norvell and Jaime Jorgensen (special friend), Kristen (Chere) Billingsley, Kimmi (Jr) and Joe Moak, Teresa (Pistoletta) and Kyle Smith, Gabe and Cammie Bryan, Betsy (Miss Boo) and Joel Lucas; great-grandchildren, Baker and Emma Billingsley, Grady and Graham Bryan plus soon to be born Emmy, Owen and Kylee Smith.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. The interment will be Thursday, January 12 in Houston. Honorary pallbearers will be Hombre Norvell, Gabe Bryan, Baker Billingsley, Joe Moak, Kyle Smith and Joel Lucas.
In lieu of flowers, Marj's wishes were for memorial contributions to be sent in memory of her precious son, Chad Elliott Bryan to Texas Children's Hospital, c/o Hematology Oncology Dept. Office of Development Site 5214, P.O. Box 300630, Houston, Texas 77230-0630.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the many family and friends and staff at St. Luke's at The Woodlands, Health South at Vision Park and Vitas Hospice Hospital for the loving care they provided during her recent illness.
