Mary Frances Jackowski

Mary was born on May 3, 1940, to John and Asela Lindamood in Houston, Texas. After graduating from Aldine High school in 1958 as valedictorian and holding positions on the yearbook committee, school newspaper and the many various sports teams she would play on and be ready for whatever path that laid ahead of her. Later that same year she would meet Frank Edward Jackowski and on January 31, 1959, they would be married. They were together for 51 years until Frank passed away. Together they would have many adventures including having three sons Frank Jr., Leslie “Les” Carl and Robert William.

Mary, right out of high school would go to work at S G Raffel Insurance company in downtown Houston. It would not be long before joining United States Steel. None of this could detour her from wandering into and staying in the oil patch. Mary joined Drillco, where she continued to learn and advance. Smith International would acquire portions of the company from Drillco and Mary in the process. Before she retired in 2012 the company would be acquired and this time it was Schlumberger. She enjoyed what she did and the people around her.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Frank Sr., sons Les and Robert. Mary was also preceded in death by her parents John Edward Lindamood, Asela Nicholas Valdes Lindamood, her brothers John Leslie Lindamood, William Lindamood and James “Jimmie” Edward Lindamood.

She is survived by her son Frank Jr., grandsons Robert Jeremy Jackowski, Michael William Jackowski and her 4 great grandchildren Liam Tripp Jackowski, Waverly Grace Jackowski, Sonora Rainn Jackowski and Shaw Scott Jackowski, sister Sylvia Irene and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at 11:00 am at Forest Park – The Woodlands Funeral Home and Cemetery, 18000 Interstate 45 South, Conroe, Texas 77384 on Monday May 11, 2026, to be followed by her Funeral service at noon in the same location.
