I had the pleasure of working with her at JFK at the beginning of our careers . She was a very special lady indeed, truly a pleasure to be with and I'm sorry to say that I never saw her again after she left NY.
I will always remember that big smile and keep her in my prayers. God rest her soul..

A most pleasant person to work with; a most cheerful smile to warm a cold, dark day. Maxine was that way. Humble, warm and caring! She will be sorely missed by those who had the privilege to know her and, to her family and close friends, she can never be replaced or forgotten!
May her soul rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of this loss to the family and friends of Maxine. I had the distinct pleasure of working with "Max" when we served with Customs together in New York. She was truly a genuine person and I always loved her little giggle. Such a special person - such a sad loss.

Maxine was the most honest, happy, laid back, down to earth person I've ever met. I don't think she ever met a stranger. She loved her parent's so much and never uttered a peep when she became their caregiver toward the end of their lives. She absolutely adored all of her four legged babies, and did so much to help dogs in need. When she was your friend, she gave unconditionally. I haven't had the privilege of seeing her often since she retired, however, I often thought about giving her a call to see about lunch or a game of bowling. It's my loss that I didn't make that call. I know she is resting comfortably with her parent's, and her four legged angels, and they are so happy to have her home with them again. The world lost a great person, a kind person, a gentle soul a one in a million. RIP my friend.

Donna and family, my deepest sympathy on the loss of your dear sister Maxine. My husband had nothing but kind words about his colleague. May your memories bring you comfort in the days ahead.
