We had the pleasure of meeting Michael through his job. He was such a polite, kind, sweet young man with a wonderful sunny smile. I’m so sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of his loved ones and his family.

My heart and prayers go out to you and your family! Micheal and I had an instant connection when he came to inspect our roof. His mannerisms and personality was obvious that he was honest and hard working. As he entered our home he compared me with his grandmother, then our family conversation started. We shared comparisons and told stories. He referred to me as MiMi and spoke so highly of his family and his love for them. He bragged on his father’s sales ability and wanted to be just like him. He wanted him to be proud. He loved this company that he worked for and my heart is heavy from your loss. He was instantly a very special person that was raised right. I’m still in shock that I lost this friend after 3 visits. May God Bless you and comfort you!🙏🏼

Michael was our Grandson.      We loved him beyond words .      To be around him was a joy.     He could and would make you laugh ,even when you were in a bad mood.     Michael loved his family and went out of his way to make other people happy.       To have one more day with him would brighten our world  for the rest of our days. My condolences go so far out to you. Michael was truly such a charismatic, kind human being. He instantly lit up the room and just knew how to put a smile on anyone’s face. I’m so glad that he and I kept in touch—I’m truly going to miss his FaceTime calls, his curiosity about life overseas, and the way he always made time to check in and catch up.

My heart breaks for you all. I’m truly at a loss for words, but please know that Michael left a lasting impact on so many, and his memory will always be with us. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. Michael brought such a light to this world and I am so grateful to have crossed paths with him.

Mike was a ball of light. We went to high school together and became close friends our freshman year at TXST. He’s always been a great person and friend to others. He was such a goofball and always made everyone laugh without even trying. He will be missed by so many people. Prayers out to the family <3

Michael worked with us (Bullpen Roofing) and was dedicated to getting better everyday, and he was getting better daily for the record. His efforts, as strong as they were, couldn’t match his magnetic kindness however. He came in everyday with a smile and some jokes. He enjoyed people and people enjoyed him back. To say we will miss him is a massive understatement. With that said, I can assure you that we will honor him.

I am torn for words, I have never felt heart break like this before. Michael wasn’t just a friend to me, he was a brother.  No matter how tough the day was, Mike always knew how to lift everyone’s spirits. We have had so many memorable days together to which I will cherish for the rest of my life. Michael, one of the first people I ever met when I moved from New Jersey to Texas. You were my friend since the first day of our seventh grade year at Schindewolf. We had science class together almost every single year. You were my teammate, my friend. You never treated me like I was an outsider or if I was below you, you always gave me the greatest respect, I’ll always remember Mr. Greens class, the day we had an experiment going on & I got scared of how Don threw liquid on me, we always joked & laughed about that day, it was one of the funniest memories I have with you. Thank you for your years of kindness love brother. To the Peña Family, God has gained one of his strongest soldiers, his laughter will be echoed forever & his smile will always shine bright in every sky. Thank you for everything Michael.
