

He joined the Air Force at 18 and then spent the next 52 years in Northern California and the last years of his life in Texas. He was the quintessential jack of all trades. From mechanic on anything with wheels, to truck driver, playing and singing in a band, Millwright, Computer hardware engineer and then finally in his final working years he did graphic design and videography. Throughout his life, he was an avid photographer and left behind a legacy of thousands of photos.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Julich, son, Gabe Zawalski, stepsons, Ted Stickels and Chad Stickels and brother, Rich Fox along with 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. In addition, his extended family of sisters-in-law and their families, Judy Cooper, Evelyn Arcuri, Kathy Isble, Sue Kneer, and Lucilla Forsaith.
A prayer service will be held at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home & Cemetery, located at 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384, US. The service is scheduled for November 19, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
He will be greatly missed by them all. He is laid to rest at the Forest Park Cemetery, The Woodlands, TX
