She had been a resident of The Woodlands for 26 years, living the last seven years with her daughter Karen Parker and her family. She was born and raised and graduated from Classen High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma but made Texas her home since 1966.
She was the youngest of six children of Leslie McClain and Helen Louise Blackford, all of whom, except her older brother Bill McClain of Oklahoma, predeceased her. Nancy is also survived by her two sons and her daughter, Michael Edward Trindle and Karen Diane Trindle Parker of The Woodlands, Texas and Barry Alan Trindle of Pine Prairie, Louisiana, and by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She will be remembered for her warm spirit and loving and charitable nature and her total devotion to her family. We will miss her smile and pure joy expressed in family gatherings. Her legacy will be one of selflessness, concern for others and love for those around her, including her dachshunds. She will be greatly missed.
