He was born in Oak Park, Illinois on December 7, 1934. Orrin graduated from Fort Lauderdale High School and received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech. He was also a member of Sigma Nu and Scabbard and Blade Military Honorary.
After High School, he enlisted in the Navy at the age of 17, ultimately served 8 years and retired as a captain in the Marine Corps.
He was married to Carol Ann Krueger on December 8, 1962.
Orrin had a career in the Computer Industry in Upper Management for RCA and CDC.
He had a passion for cars and country.
Orrin is survived by his loving wife; Carol Gore, daughter; Pamela Ann Gore Bringsjord, sons; Thomas Ardell Gore, Terence Fitzgerald Gore, and Robert Orrin Gore, granddaughters; Kristen Elizabeth Bringsjord and Isabella Ann Gore, grandsons; Erik Gore Bringsjord, Kurt Matthew Bringsjord, Blake Orrin Gore, and Grant Michael Gore, sisters; Lorena Gore Dunlap and Marilyn McGill.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, July 11, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, New Waverly, Texas.
