Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Raymond Hunter, and her sister, Mary Janice Fournier.
Pat is survived by her brothers, Gerald Henry Welsh and Peter Michael Welsh. She is also survived by her three children, Elizabeth Ann Douthit, Katherine Lee Leflar, and Timothy James Hunter, and her seven grandchildren.
Pat has been a part of The Woodlands for more than 35 years where she and her husband raised their three children and became treasured members of the community. While her children were still in school, she volunteered her time in their schools and with their sports teams. She was also a consummate sports fan, an avid tennis player, and a lifelong dog lover. Her outgoing personality and positive energy naturally drew people to her and made her a friend of anyone she met. Above all, Pat devoted her life to her children, her grandchildren, and her many friends.
Visitation and Rosary Service will be held on Sunday, October 9th at Forest Park Funeral Home in The Woodlands from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, The Woodlands, on Monday, October 10th at 11:00 am with a reception following. Her final resting place will be next to her husband, Edwin, at Forest Park Cemetery in the Woodlands.
