Patricia Irene Lynch, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother died on February 12, 2015 at the age of 82. Pat was born in on April 21, 1932 in Seneca, KS. She was one of 5 siblings born to Ben & Ileta Holthaus.
Pat grew up in Kansas and graduated from Seneca High School in 1950. She worked most of her life in the travel industry – for Braniff and TWA airlines and later as a travel agent. Her profession allowed her to travel the world with her friends & family, which was one of the things she enjoyed doing the most. All who travelled with Pat benefitted from her superior organizational and trip planning skills and everyone always had a great time. Upon retirement, the travel continued with 25 years of RV travel with husband, Arden.
Pat was the friendliest, most fun person you could ever meet. She never met a stranger. She was the ultimate hostess, welcoming any and all into her home for cocktails and a meal. She knew how to entertain, make people feel at home, all the while making it look effortless and enjoying her guests.
Pat and Arden were married in Seneca, Kansas on August 4, 1956 and had been married for 58 years. After a brief time in California, they moved to Houston, TX, where they lived and raised their 2 daughters. In 1979, they moved to Montgomery, TX, where they were living at the time of Pat’s death.
Pat is survived by her husband, Arden; Daughter Cathy Lawdanski & husband, Tony; Daughter Sandy Lynch and partner, Marjorie Montoya; Granddaughter Amy Lawdanski and partner, Bobby Humphreys; Granddaughter Allison Taylor and husband, Michael; Great-grandchildren, Parker Lawdanski and Madeline Humphreys; Brother, Carl Holthaus and wife Maureen and sister, Jean Stedman.
