

Paul Edward Neal, Sr., 87, of Magnolia, Texas, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 1, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born July 31, 1938, in Gregory, Arkansas, Paul lived a life defined by hard work and a profound love for both family and the outdoors.
A skilled carpenter and avid outdoorsman, Paul took immense pride in his craftsmanship, leaving behind not only the things he built with his hands, but also the family and friendships he built with his heart. A devoted husband, he shared more than 53 cherished years with his beloved wife, Bonnie, creating a lifetime of treasured memories. Paul will be remembered for his generosity, unwavering devotion to family, and his love of fishing.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, John Neal and Florence (Williams) Neal; twelve siblings; and his daughter, Melissa Copeland (Bobby). He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; son, Paul Neal Jr.; daughters, Rhonda Light (Greg), Lisa Ivey (Bryan), Michele Neal, and Paula Taylor (Clint); thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home & Cemetery, 18000 I-45 South, The Woodlands, Texas, on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.
A catered reception will follow the celebration of life from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM in the R.L. Wood room.
A private interment will follow immediately after the service.
As we gather to honor Paul’s life, guests are encouraged to wear red or pink—two of his favorite colors—as a tribute to his cheerful spirit. Casual attire, including jeans, is welcomed.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff and caregivers at Enhabit Hospice for their exceptional care and support.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Parkinson’s Foundation (www.parkinson.org) or the National Kidney Foundation (www.kidney.org), causes that were close to Paul’s heart.
