He graduated from Passi High School and received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of ILOILO.
Raffy was married to Loubelle on September 30, 1984. He had a career as a mechanical engineer at Paragon Paper Mill in Bataan, Philippines. Raffy worked as a planner for a petroleum company in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. He also worked for Chelsea Catering with United Airlines in Houston, TX and retired from Klein Independent School District in Spring, TX.
Raffy had a passion for sports, loved basketball, jerseys, sneakers and single malt whisky.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ruperto and Monica Arellano, as well as brother Noli Arellano.
Raffy is survived by his wife, Loubelle; his daughter Ashley Arellano and fiance (William Bookter); his sister Felina (Alex), his sister Ma. Leni (Felipe), his brother Ramir (Aida), his brother Ruperto (Jane), his brother Joel (Lucille) and his sister-in-law Angelita; his granddaughter Brielle, his niece Angela Claire, his nephew Vincent, his niece Shaira Mae, his niece Trisha (Jonas), his nephew Michael Jarre, his niece Noelle Gabrielle and his great nephew Josh.
A visitation for Raffy will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Forest Park - The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384. A rosary service will occur Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
A funeral service will occur Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Saint Edward Catholic Church, 2601 Spring Stuebner Rd, Spring, TX 77389. A committal service will occur Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Park - The Woodlands Cemetery, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384.
Serving as pallbearers are Pert Arellano, William Bookter, James Abalos, Cesar Lagrimas, Winnie Grimaldo, Kelvin Masilungan, Jay Lagrimas and Lawrence Pasaoa.
