Richard shared nearly 30 beautiful years of marriage with the love of his life, Barbara Sue Pfirman. Together they built a life filled with love, companionship, and cherished memories. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Barbara, as well as his parents, Homer W. Pfirman and Myrtle F. Pfirman.
He leaves behind his loving sister, JoAnn Pfirman of Williamsport, Pennsylvania; his brother, William L. Pfirman and wife Cheryl of DuBoistown, Pennsylvania; many treasured nieces and nephews; and his dear friend, Donna Hu of Houston, Texas. Richard’s kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A celebration of Richard’s life will be held on May 28, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home & Cemetery.
