Robert "Bobby" Wayne Jaster

Robert Wayne Jaster, aged 69, left this earth to be with his Lord on April 18, 2016. Born December 29, 1946, in Houston, Texas, he had retired to Fairfield, Texas, in 2014 after a long career in the building supply industry. It was a shock to his whole family, but his heart just wasn't able to make it any longer. He is survived by his two sisters, Jeanette Elaine Ramin and husband George, Nancy Lynn Grube and husband John; three children, daughters Tamara Lynn Griess and husband Rob, Amy Katherine Jaster-Tedder and husband Bobby, and son Jay Cody Jaster and girlfriend Amber. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Cooper Robert Griess and Gabrielle Grace Jaster. He leaves behind a number of nieces and nephews who loved their Uncle Bobby.

He will also be greatly missed by the scouting community for his many years of service. An American patriot, he was proud of his service as a U.S. Army combat veteran in Vietnam. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 23rd at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, Texas, 77384. The funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m.
