Ronnie J. Self (76) passed away at his home on November 19, 2012 in Conroe, TX. Ronnie was born on September 29, 1936 in Haskell, Texas. Married on November 8, 1956 to his wife of 56 years. Lifetime Member of the Pipefitters Local Union 211. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Taylor Self; his children Jaynie and Rick Hutchinson of Taylor Lake Village, TX, Karla and Pat Butler of Westlake Village, CA and Flint and Michelle Self of Houston, TX; his grandchildren LeighAnna Hutchinson, Meganne Butler, Joshua Butler, Morgan Butler, Dori Butler, Jayden Self and Chance Beam; his brothers Kenneth and LaVonne Self and Steve and Barbara Taylor; his mother in law, Monnell Taylor and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Jack and Velma Self; his sister, Gloria Ann Self and his father in law, R. O. Bill Taylor.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 23rd from 6 pm to 8 pm; with funeral service and graveside on Saturday, November 24th starting at 10 am. All services will be held at Forest Park Woodlands.
