Rose Mary was a member of the St. Edward Catholic Community and held a current licensure in the state of Texas as a nurse. Up until March she was a private nurse for several residences at The Forum in The Woodlands, Texas. We all know her as the person who carried the mental health message to seniors and to organizations who served seniors, particularly nursing homes. She was the lead coordinator in a special demonstration project to improve the health and mental health care of seniors in nursing homes from 1987 to 1989, bringing together internal medicine, and mental healthcare in a way that resulted in a coordination of care that was 20 years ahead of its time, bringing results that we can only hope to copy today.
A Mass of Christian Burial is set for 11:30 A.M., Thursday, June 23, 2011 at the St. Edward Catholic Community Church, 2601 Spring Stuebner Rd., Spring, Texas 77389. A private interment will follow in Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., with a rosary service at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 22, 2011 in the Chapel at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home.
