On June 18, 2011 our family lost our beloved Russell Vaughn Beard and heaven gained an angel.
Russ was a journeyman plumber and also a certified veterinary technician.
He loved working with animals and spent many years working with the non profit organization "Caring Critters" and also spent time volunteering at the Houston Zoo.

Survived by Lisa Dubay Beard (wife), Linda Beard Simpson (mother), Elvin Simpson (step-father), Loyaluia and Linville Brown (grandparents), siblings Carrie Michelle Beard, Kenneth Beard and sister in law Natalie Beard, Andrea Beard Haygood and brother in law Brian Haygood, and many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his beloved pets.
In lieu of sending flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the following organizations in memory of Russell Vaughn Beard.
