Ryan Christopher Kmiec, 24 of Spring, Texas laid down for an afternoon nap on June 22, 2020 and woke up in heaven with his beloved Mamaw and Popo. Ryan blessed his parents Tracie and Chris Kmiec making his grand entrance into the world on June 12, 1996.

Although Ryan’s time on earth with us was cut short, he did have time to graduate from Spring High School in 2014, attend Sam Houston State University for a couple of years, and then experience several different job opportunities. His last employment which he was really enjoying was with Circle M Energy in Odessa, Texas. He was a hard working young man with a heart of gold. Ryan’s free time was spent fishing, hunting, grilling and drinking beer with his family and friends.

Ryan has several friends and family members awaiting his arrival in heaven including grandparents James “Popo” and Bernice “Mamaw” Kmiec, great aunt Mary Januhowski and friend Jamie McNatt. Ryan will be waiting in heaven for all of his other friends and family including: his parents, Chris & Tracie, his brother Austin, his grandparents Rodney & Cindy, his grandmother Jamie “Granka”, his aunts and uncles Ken & Carlotta and Steve & Katie, and cousins Madelyn, Jonathan, Emily, TJ, Brandon and Payten.

There will be a visitation held at Forest Park Funeral Home in The Woodlands on Tuesday, June 30 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM followed by a private service.

Please keep our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and/or friend Ryan in your prayers.

My prayers are with you Tracie and Chris in the loss of your sweet son Ryan. I only knew him for a little while through his Granka. He had such a sweet and humble spirit about him. He was always very kind always had a smile and wonderful cook! I’m gonna miss his Dr. Pepper roast! Gone too soon but will never be forgotten! Rest easy man!!

I remember Chris, when you brought Ryan over to my house in League City .I took he and Joseph to the indoor skate park in Pasadena and he spent the night. They were in middle school then. He had such good manners!! They had such a good time together . I remember how sweet and funny he was.

We watched Ryan grow up right across the street for the last 18 years. He was such a great kid and friend to our daughter. He turned into an even better young man. He was always happy to see you and always showed respect for everyone who crossed his path. Ryan, we are going to miss hearing you call out and run over just to say "hi" and we are really going to miss all the desserts you brought over for us to "test out". We know we'll never find a Pumpkin roll that will ever beat yours! We are heartbroken. Your heart was huge and you will be missed by so many. We are grateful that we got to know you as our family and watch you grow. Godspeed, until we see you again.

Rest In Peace Ryan,
I know you've already found a great fishing spot, enjoy it with your "Popo” and “Mamaw"!

I remember Chris, when you brought Ryan to my house in League City to play with Joseph. They were in middle school and loved to skate board. We went to the indoor skate park in Pasadena and he spent the night. They had a blast. I remember how sweet and funny he was and what good manners he had . He and Joe had such a good time. I love y'all

I remember it like it was yesterday, you running downstairs, asking whats for breakfast, and all smiles. Watching you grow up over the years have given us some great memories. There are no words to describe the heartbreak from this loss. Your life was so short, yet so full of memories, fun times, and smiles. I pray you have found peace, happiness, and everything possible in heaven. We will see you again sweet boy. Have fun fishing in the sky.
