Mrs. Sameth Prak, 80 passed away at home on October 17, 2024 after a lengthy illness. She was born in Cambodia on May 4, 1944. Sameth and her family came to America as refugees from Cambodia in 1981. After coming to America in 1981 she went to work for Conroe ISD in the Custodial Department for a number of years.
Sameth spent many years helping raise many of her beloved grandchildren. She adored being a mother and a grandmother. Sameth was proud to become a US Citizen in 1990, But, never forgot her homeland or language. Sameth memory will live on in her children and grandchildren. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
She is survived by her Son Joe Prak (Amanda); children Brandon and Andrea Prak. Son Noy Prak; children Natalie, Ethan, and Zachery Prak. Nephew Dore’ Prak (Summer); Niece Sarim Chea (Ro); Nephew Marin Prak. Grandchildren Alexander Chea (Matiny), Metha Chea, Isabella, Sebastian, and Scarlett, and Gabriella Prak. As well as many cousins. Sameth is preceded in death by Sister Samon Prak of Conroe, Texas.
A visitation for Sameth will be held Sunday, November 3, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home & Cemetery, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384 to be followed by a funeral service 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A committal service will occur 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM and with a reception afterward from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
