

Sharon Julane Gibson was born August 30, 1942 in Liberty, Texas, and passed away peacefully on November 15, 2011 in Tomball, Texas where she had recently been residing, after living in Mineral Wells, Texas from 1996 to 2010.
Sharon was a caring and sweet devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. In addition to her family, she loved animals, music, playing scrabble and collecting flying pig figurines in her later years. She enjoyed reading and learning which along with her caring nature led her to study nursing in college. She was sensitive, yet she never complained about the pain that consumed the last ten years of her life.
Sharon was predeceased by her father, Louie John Wortham and mother, Ruby Lee Wortham and by her sister Lou Wynell Hurst. She is survived by her three daughters, Julane (Nabil) Wehbe of Reno, NV; Deanna (Jim) Clark of The Woodlands, TX; and Connie Gibson of Houston, TX and by her grandchildren Nick and Jack Wehbe, and Jayne and Kim Clark. She is also survived by her brother Bruce (Cheryl) Wortham, brother in law Stephen Hurst, and former husband, Albert (Vikki) Gibson and numerous friends and family.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at Forest Park, The Woodlands at 2:00 p.m.
