Jeanne was born on August 2, 1956, in Jackson, Mississippi, to Leo and Maxine Timms, the eldest of four girls. She grew up in Mississippi and graduated from Raleigh High School in Raleigh, Mississippi before attending the University of Southern Mississippi, where she earned degrees in Accounting and Business Administration.
After graduating, Jeanne moved to Houston in 1979 to begin her career with Exxon. It was there that she met Michael Giblin, whom she married on December 27, 1980. Together they built a loving marriage and family that would remain the center of Jeanne's life for more than 45 years.
Jeanne is survived by her husband, Michael Giblin; her daughter, Stephanie Graham, and son-in-law, Alister Graham; her son, Adam Giblin, and daughter-in-law, Jenny Giblin; her grandchildren, Addison Graham, Cooper Giblin, and Cameron Giblin; and her sisters, Gayle Dover and Carol Harrison.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Maxine Timms; her sister, Bess Timms; and her beloved grandson, Max Graham.
While Jeanne began her professional life in the business world, she devoted most of her adult years to her family, friends, and faith. Her life's journey took her to multiple states and countries, including five years living abroad, which sparked a lifelong love of travel and experiencing new places. She loved baking, opening her home to others, and was a prolific communicator, never missing an opportunity to send a thoughtful card, text, or note of encouragement. She generously gave her time in service to her church and to those around her, always looking for ways to help others.
Jeanne was a faithful follower of Christ and was deeply involved in Crossroads Baptist Church. She also served for many years in leadership roles with Bible Study Fellowship, where she encouraged and discipled countless women through the study of God's Word.
More than anything, Jeanne's life reflected the two greatest commandments taught by Jesus: to love God and to love your neighbor. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness, faith, and generosity touched everyone who knew her. Her legacy of love will continue through the family she cherished and the many lives she impacted.
A celebration of Jeanne's life will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Crossroads Baptist Church in The Woodlands, Texas at 1:00 pm, with the doors open for viewing starting at 11:30 am.
She fought the good fight, finished the race well, and kept the faith.
