
Born in the home of Isam E. and Ina Sparks Madden on May 6, 1919 in the town of Slaton, Lubbock County, Texas.
Received THE LORD JESUS CHRIST as my Savior, and was baptized in a Baptist church in Slaton.
Major accomplishment: Married Joyce Taylor on December 19, 1948 in Fort Worth, Texas who gave me a wonderful son, Charlie, and loving daughter, Claudia, who gave us a very caring son-in-law, Stephen Roth.
Received honorable discharge from U.S. NAVY after serving 6 years at the end of WWII
Received BS degree in Engineering from SMU
Smartest move: 137 Fairway Dr. in Emerald Bay.
Honors received: ordained to the offices of Deacon and Elder in the First Presbyterian Church of Midland, Texas. Received Master Degree in Mason Lodge and degrees in Masonic Scottish Rite and Shrine.
Received gold watch for serving in sales department of Riley Beaird, Shreveport, LA. In Dallas and Midland.
Member of Emerald Bay Community Church. Served as secretary of Emerald Bay MGA and president of Emerald Bay club Board of Directors. Honored to be a member of Golden Tees.
My desire is that any memorial service held for me be as a celebration of God’s saving grace and the blessings He has showered on me.
