Tyrone, was thinking about you today. I cherish that chance we had to visit at MDACC. Was so surprised to turn around and find you standing in line behind Paul and I. A gift I will always remember and treasure. My deepest thoughts and sympathy always to your family and many friends.

My name is Claire Hanley (RN). I had the profound pleasure to meet Tyrone and become one of his friends when we both worked at Medical Center Del Oro Hospital. (1978-1992). I have often wondered how he was doing (I knew he would do well) and was shocked to find that he has passed. One of my favorite memories of Tyrone was when we took a break from MRI duties and took a joy ride around the hospital grounds on the golf cart that the security guard had happened to leave idling outside the ER entrance. While doing so, Tyrone broke into "Flintstones, we're the Flintstones......! We were able to return it undetected, and oh how he made me laugh! Such a good man. Such a shock. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

We met Tyrone through a mutual friend. What a pleasure that was. As this has been previously stated, Tyrone brought a smile with him where ever he went. Always happy. He was such a beautiful Christian and he was willing to share his faith with all. I know he adored his beautiful Gabriella(the only child I was aware of)and that he was a devoted and loving father/husband/son/brother/boss and friend.I'm so sorry for your loss, but The Lord has another singer in his heavenly choir/band.Blessings to all.

When I first started at St.Lukes, I had recently moved from Denver and kept getting lost in the Woodlands.  I kept looking for the mountains to let me know which direction was west.  (Obviously a bad choice)Tyrone told me that "if I run into the mountains... I have probably gone too far"  and to let him knowif I miss my exit by that much, he would show me the way home.  My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Talk about a big brother that I never had..Tyrone was it. He belived in me when I didn't even know who I was and know matter how crazy i got ..wow Tyrone was right there with me..yea it was great being part of the three amigos, really the best times of my life. Tyrone showed me that coming to work dont have to feel like it and still today my work ethics are because of him..I love you Bro. and will never forget the path u help me get on.  thans ROMEY ROME

I 1st met Tyrone when we were in radiology school. He had a dynamic and contagious happy personality that you could not help but smiles with him. He brings out the best in all of us ...Every interaction with Tyrone are the most precious memories of fun, laughter, love, good time with one another. I'm sad that I did not get see Tyrone since he left St Luke's. I miss my friend...he will forever be in my heart.

Tyrone was one of the most gifted musicians I have ever known. He was our drummer in Greensound,and he could also crank out some amazing jazz on his flute.  Tyrone was a beloved friend to all who knew him, and he could make you laugh without ever saying a word.  

He was quite the practical joker and I have fond memories of his weekly “drawings” of my parents, Otis and Marie, wearing various and quite embarrassing hair styles and clothing, displayed on the chalkboard in the SPHS choir room for all to see.  He was a good sport when I reciprocated and changed the names under the drawings to Doris and Herman; his parents.  

Our senior year, I convinced the person doing the school announcements to wish him a Happy Birthday on Halloween.  Announcements were during Mixed Choir and I waited in anticipation to see the look on his face when he heard his birthday wish.  I’m sure you can picture him laughing and saying, “that was so cold!” 

Although Tyrone left us much too soon, his life touched many people and his memory will never be forgotten.

While working on the Inpatient Addition to St. Luke's The Woodlands Hospital, I came to know and admire Tyrone.  His leadership, focus and dedication to the project inspired me to be better at my job.  He delt with so many different personalities and issues with a aplomb and caring.  His humor and bright personality were infectious and I will never forget his smile and loving character.

I remember Tyrone when I was a circulating nurse at St. Luke's the Woodlands.  He was always ready with a friendly smile and sympathetic ear.  I was saddened to hear of his death and know he will be missed by many who were blessed with knowing him.

Tyrone is a blessing to all of us who knew him, and will live on in each of us. Such a wonderfully talented and positive-minded individual at all times. My personal memories extend back to the glory days of the SPHS Greenie Band of late '70s and all the hard work and lots of fun we had. Tyrone always had laughter to share. Tyrone was a cousin I knew only from the pictures my Dad would take and the stories he would share with us after visiting his many relatives. I'm very sad to hear that Tyrone is gone from our big extended family. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and  friends who both knew him well and loved him.

I met Tyrone as a  young man and an Xray student @ St Lukes in the Medical Center many years ago. It hurt my heart to hear of his passing. He was always smiling and never had a cross word against anyone.  I saw him a few yers ago at a seminar and he was still his wonderful self even after all these years. My condolences to his family and to our Radiology Community..we have lost a very special man. May God send his blessings and healing in this time of despair & pain.

I knew Tyrone for 15 years (from Texas Orthopedic Hospital).  From the day I met him, I knew he was crazy (just like me)!  I have fond memories of his kindness to everyone, all the time. That smile, the jokes, etc...that's how I'll remember him. May his soul rest in eternal peace. My prayers are with his mother (especially) and his family.

All who knew Tyrone were truly blessed to have experienced the friendship of such a kind person. He never missed an opportunity to brighten our days with his big smile and his ability to generate contagious laughter at some of the most unexpected moments. He will be greatly missed by everyone in our graduating class.

Im stunned to hear of Tyrone's passing. He gave me a job at TOH and I can say I was so very lucky! That was one of the best jobs i've had. He was so funny making everyday so exciting for me to come to work. It was less like work and more like meeting up with good friends for great laughs.  So quick witted. Im blessed to know Tyrone. My heart goes out to his frineds and family. He was an amazing man.

Many Blessings to Tyrone's family. I have fond memories of hanging out at Steven Cowarts house. Man, the music you two could crank out!!! Much peace in Jesus my friend.

Tyrone had a quality and presence about him that was rare and special. He had the unique ability to almost instantly "connect" with everybody he came across, regardless of background. Also, Tyrone was straight up hilarious. I still remember how he would have the whole radiology department at TOH in tears of laughter on a daily basis. Hanging out with Tyrone was always the highlight of my day. I still remember the day Tyrone, Charles, and I had lunch at Kahns Deli, and we created the character "Charles Beauvier III" aka Charles Harris. You had to be there.. those were great days I will never forget. Tyrone's death was a huge loss for all of us. Our sympathy especially goes out to his family. His positivity and appreciation for life is something we can all learn from.
