She was born in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota on November 14, 1967. Valerie Sanders graduated from Detroit Lakes High School and received a Bachelor of Arts from Luther College.
She was married to Ralph Sanders on February 12, 1994.
Valerie had a career as an Account Sales Executive for Community Impact Newspaper, and she had a passion for family and music.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Roland and Ellen Sandman.
Valerie is survived by husband, Ralph Sanders; children, Tristan Sanders, Emma Sanders; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 9, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Entombment will follow the service in Forest Park Cemetery’s Chapel Mausoleum. Family and friends are invited for a reception in Forest Park’s Event Room from 3:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
