I was shocked to here that Dr. LeCrone had passed.  He was such a nice guy. I was one of his adult patiences.  I will miss him.

I can't tell you how he touched my family but my daughter's smile will always be a testament to his great work. We used to talk about his P90X workouts! What a great guy! God bless his family.

Vance was a great guy that brought happiness to all that he touched.  I have many fond memories of our long friendship as campers and counsellors at Camp Longhorn.  I will say a special prayer for him and family tomorrow morning at Church Mountain.

I knew Vance and his father through their enrollment at the Institute of Gerontological Studies at Baylor.  What a wonderful young man Vance was.  I remember them both well.  "For I Know The Plans I Have For You," Declares The LORD, "Plans to Prosper You and Not To Harm You, Plans To Give You Hope and a Future." Jeremiah 29:11

I can't believe he's really gone. I've grown up with him and it seems so strange to think that when I go back he won't be there to ask about how I've been while he's checking my teeth and I'm trying my best to answer him and not bite his fingers off haha.. You'll be missed, Dr. Lecrone!

Dr. LeCrone was kind, gentle and always greeted us with a smile.  We are sad and he will be missed.  Thank you Dr. LeCrone for always having a giving heart, if it was not for your generosity, Jules would not have had her braces on right now.  We will miss you so very much.  God needed another warrior in Heaven and we truly believe his best warriors are called early to assist the rest of us one day...

Vance was such a wonderful person and a credit to you all. He was whip smart, witty, driven, gracious, and one of the most truly kind and genuine people I have ever known.  I am so sorry for your unspeakable loss.

At the memorial service my heart was lightened by all of the words of Vance's sense of humor and ability to reflect joy and happiness. I would like to emphasize his professionalism which was evident even when he was completing his collegiate years at Baylor. For an exposure to  the medical and surgical environment he asked to accompany me on hospital rounds, deliveries and observe operative procedures with the consent of patient and hospital. Due to the nature of ob-gyn practice I was concerned that my patients might object. However even at his young age, he projected such professionalism and empathy that not a single mother or father objected to his presence. In 39 years of obstetrical practice Vance is the only observer that I felt comfortable accompanying me.

Dr. LeCrone you will be missed.  We will always remember your kindness and caring nature.  Thoughts and prayers to the family.

Though it has been years since I last talked with Dr. LeCrone, I will forever remember his kindness and genuine caring nature for all of his patients and friends.  Our prayers are with his wife, children and other members of his family and staff.

We knew Vance only casually. We would see him at the golf course or at a restaurant with his beautiful family. The first time I met him I remember thinking what a nice guy he was. Every time I saw him after that I had the same impression. What I saw was strength, patience, and goodness. There is no better legacy to leave your loved ones. His life honored his family, friends, and everyone that knew him.

I had know Vance since residency days at UT. He was a great friend, an outstanding clinician and a loving father. I last saw him at the drama camp where his daughter was performing in 101 Dalmatians in June this year. He was in the front row beaming!

As an associate professor at the UT Dental School, I had Vance as a student and he was the best.  I saw him during his Orthodontic Residency there, as well.  Vance was always cheerful, professional and rock solid.  Every contact I had with him while in practice in The Woodlands was the same.  It was a privilege to have known him.  Vance earned my highest respect as a professional and as a person.  My wife Michele and I wish you our most heartfelt condolence.

Will was 2 for 3 last night, an RBI and a single- Thursday August 28th is Bat Night here at Arlington Stadium, the first 2,000 fans admitted to the ballpark receive a free bat compliments of your Tehhxas Rainjers and Gatorade- for that deep down body thirst.

Vance was an exceptional person with an awesome personality.  I remember playing soccer with him when we were young and always passing him in the halls at school as he always waved.  He was an extremely nice guy who was always smiling. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Amy and family, we are very sorry for your loss! We only new Vance for a short while. He coached our son Isaiah "bear" on the blue jays. He was always very sweet and encouraging to our son. Although we do not personally know the LeCrone family, living in The Woodlands, we have heard so many wonderful things about Dr. LeCrone and his generosity. My 12 year old daughter overheard me tell my husband about the terrible loss in our community, and asked who I was talking about. When I explained who Dr. LeCrone was and what had happened, she immediately said that God must have needed him. She was adamant that we find his family and tell them that even though they are sad, they have to realize that God has a plan. She hoped that they would take comfort in knowing that God really must have needed him because he would not have allowed his family to hurt so bad for no reason at all. I was amazed that someone so young would have such great insight. Our heartfelt prayers go out to the LeCrone family at this time of unimaginable loss. May God fill your heart with peace in knowing how many people, including those who didn't even know him, are praying for all of you.

Sweet Vance, I have such dear memories of you and our BU days. You were truly one of the kindest, most thoughtful and surely goofiest guys I've ever known.  You knew how to make anyone smile. A great friend, I always have fun when I was working at his side  at  Dr Zurita's. Office , I feel sad  about  it. But I think  I will see him again in heaven and we will laugh again . Dr LeCrone was WAY too young and too talented to pass. I was always impressed with how he connected to not only his patients, but the parents of his patients. The way he always knew what song and who it was sung by made my heart happy every time we were at LeCrone orthodontics. His memory and attention to every fine detail will not be forgotten every time my son smiles his beautiful smile. God Bless your young family and your soul dear doctor.

Dear LeCrone and Anderson family, Thank you for sharing a beautiful life with us, one that touched many and has left an imprint in many hearts like ours. Dr. LeCrone was a man who touched my life and that of my two boys (Austin and Aaron).He often shared his most recent golf game or tournament at every visit. He would joke around with Aaron my youngest and ask if Aaron could help him with his putt; while he,Dr. LeCrone shared how he played his most recent back nine or front nine-- start and finish. As a family, we never felt like patients but friends. He greeted my boys by their names and talked up golf at every visit without fail. He had a very special demeaner and charisma about him that no other Doctor could compare. He lit up the orthodontic room with his smile and warm attitude—you knew he lived and loved life. He will be missed dearly along with his smile, his stories and his undivided attention given to my boys as he scooted to their orthodontics chair to talk to them about his golf and ask them about theirs. I can honestly say, in his presence, he made us feel like a VIP. Thank you for sharing his life and memories in the gallery. He will be remembered for bringing smiles to many faces. He was genuine and authentic; and small town friendliness-- and if you happened to run into him at the movies, he was dad with two arms full--wrapped around boxes of popcorn and his three beautiful children.  What a blessed role model, God gave us. Thank you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your loved ones.

I cherish my memories. December 1, 2004. The first day open at LeCrone Orthodontics. What a journey. Dr. LeCrone truly shared his heart and smile with the world. My prayers for family, especially Thomas, Adeline and Charlotte. I am just so sorry.
