Vanessa Ann Gonzales

Vanessa Ann Gonzales, 53, has gone home on August 16, 2026. She was born on August 23, 1972, in San Antonio, Texas. Vanessa lived a beautiful and happy life deeply rooted in faith, courage, love, and devotion to her family.

Vanessa was a loving and caring wife to her husband, Gilbert. She was his protector, his ride or die and he was always by her side making her laugh, protecting and comforting her. He was her calm and her rock. They had an unbreakable bond since high school. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, treasured memories, and family adventures with always putting Christ first in everything they did. She had so much love for her second honey and son, Justin, and her concert sharing, mini me daughter, Christina. Spending time with her husband and children brought her the greatest joy and all she needed to be happy.

As she gave her life to Christ, she was the encouragement to her husband and the calm in his life. She was the one that gave him peace and comfort through our Lord and Savior and prayed together everyday.

She encouraged Christ on to her son and daughter and encouraged them to fulfill their dreams and let nothing hold them back.

Vanessa loved being surrounded by her family and especially enjoyed taking trips with those she loved. She was always laughing, creating special memories, and living life to the fullest. Her faithful and courageous spirit was an inspiration to everyone who knew and loved her.

Her life will still go on and will be lived by Gilbert, Justin and Christina. Also by her parents, John and Grace; her brother, Jon Jon; her father-in-law; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law whom she called her own brothers and sisters; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews whom she loved very much. Also by her extended family members, and friends.

Although Vanessa will be deeply missed here on earth, her family finds comfort in knowing she is at peace and healed in the presence of Our Lord, Our King, and Savior Jesus Christ. Her love, laughter, strength, and unwavering faith will remain forever in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. Soon we will be together again.
