Querida familia Lledó;

Vicente was my mentor for a year—a truly great leader who inspired me deeply. His guidance and example will stay with me, and we will miss him tremendously.
To his family, please accept my sincere condolences. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

Araceli Isunza L.

I will always remember Vicente for the passion and generosity he brought to everything he did.

One of my favorite memories is when Vicente and Begona hosted our team and our significant others at their home, cooking an incredible paella and a full spread of food. It wasn’t just a meal — it was Vicente’s way of bringing people together, sharing joy, and making everyone feel part of something special.

As a leader, Vicente truly believed in people. He mentored, empowered, and helped others grow, and his impact on the business and on our lives will last far beyond his time with us. I feel grateful to have worked with him and to have known him.

He will be deeply missed.

Dear Begona and family,

So sorry to hear of your loss.

Vicente was a colleague who brought calm, thoughtfulness and considered adult opinion to every challenge and opportunity. Basically, made any team better.

I know eventually the good times and memories will outweigh the grief.

RIP Vicente

Cathy

I was so saddened to learn of Vicente’s passing. Vicente was a great colleague…smart, energetic and dedicated. Vicente was a problem solver, taking on challenges with gusto. I was very lucky to have him as a highly valued colleague and friend.

My heart goes out to his family and I extend my best wishes for coping with his loss…Jim Marcogliese

We give thanks to the Lord for the life of Vicente. For the legacy he lives on this side of eternity. For the fact that he is now home, free of pain with the Lord.

Heavenly Father, hold Begoña closely and be her comfort as only you can.

God of all mercies and comfort, please pour out your comfort on Vicente Jr. and Fatima.

Let them feel your loving arms wrapped around them. Give them strength, peace, and wisdom.

Let the entire family experience Unity in the Spirit during this time of mourning.

In Jesus name, Amen.

Samuel and Sara Ortiz

Vicente was such a special person. He was the best boss I have ever had. He was so dynamic, he loved working in Lubes and had all sorts of stories. His laptop is a treasure trove of prior strategies and initiatives and he would pull them out all the time! I often avoided Vicente after 4:30 pm because if he caught you then you were talking strategy for the next 2 hours. He just loved figuring thing out. I loved his passion. When we were in China, we talked him into going to a club right next to the Marriot in Shanghai. Of course, he went because he was all about experiences and he was doing it for his team. I will miss you Vicente.

I thank God for the privilege of having crossed paths with Vicente in this life, of having been true friends… companions… accomplices. He was also the shoulder to lean on during difficult moments, and with great warmth he always offered me his help and advice. He was my colleague, my boss, my mentor, and we were always united by an enormous alignment in the way we saw things, in how we solved challenges, found solutions, and worked hard to achieve results — all of this while always having fun and celebrating our achievements.

Dear family of Vicente
We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Vicente this week. There are no words that can ease the pain of such a profound loss, but we wish you strength, comfort, and moments of peace in this difficult time. Vicente was a remarkable person, and he will stay in our memory not only as a mentor but more importantly as a kind and warm person who loved to entertain and who cared deeply about others.

With deepest sympathy

Dianne and I were deeply saddened to hear of Vicente's passing; our hearts go out to Begoña, Vicente, and Fatima.

He was passionate about his family, his colleagues and friends, the business, and his sports, and perhaps the best cook we've had the pleasure of knowing. We believe that the words of Cicero will bear witness to Vicente: "The life given us, by nature is short; but the memory of a well-spent life is eternal."

Our last time together was après-ski up at, fittingly, Heavenly. We will see you on the slopes, my friend.

Rob and Dianne Sherman

For anyone who had the privilege to meet Vicente, three things were almost certain:
1) You could not help but notice his knowledge in a broad variety of pursuits -- both in ExxonMobil's Lubricants business and in the personal realm
2) It was impossible not to be affected, maybe even infected, in some way by the conviction and passion of this genuinely good guy in those many pursuits, and
3) Vicente would land in the group of people whom you would never forget!

Rest in Peace, My Friend

We will always treasure the wonderful memories of our fun times together; especially when as ‘El Jefe’ you welcomed us as family and introduced us to the unique sights, sounds and tastes of Mexico City.
We will miss you dear friend xxx

Vicente, I loved working with and learning from you. You were always thinking strategically, usually two steps ahead, and you never met a stranger. You were a mentor, a leader, and a friend to everyone. The love and passion you had for your family was evident in the stories about cooking, family trips skiing and your pride for Vicente and Fatima’s accomplishments. Thank you for the lessons, the laughter, and the legacy you leave behind. You will be deeply missed.

Stacie Kelly

Always missed, never forgotten. A warm, caring soul who touched so many.

Thank you Vicente for your unwavering care, sincerity and for instilling the values of grit, perseverance and courage to pursue in what we believe in. 5 years under your direct leadership in I&BT allowed me to witness your passion in developing talent, pushing on against the tides, and warmth in your approach to friends and family. Thank you for everything. We will miss you dearly. Rest in peace.

Marisa Marcos Lanas

Vicente is one of the warmest colleagues I have ever met. Kind, caring and a great mentor. Rest in Peace Vicente.

You will be missed!

He was an exelent person.
Hold and kissses for your family

Francisco & Hilda

This is another CNY celebration in 2025 @Houston, the last CNY we spent together.

Still hard to believe this heartbroken news. Vicente was such a great mentor, a caring leader and friend for many of us coming from all over the world. He was such a culture explorer that always celebrated Chinese New Year with our Asian colleagues and helped us to mingle together with local culture. Those great memories in Haodilao hotpot or Fung's kitchen, and many other home cooking dinners would never go away and stay with us for many more CNYs until we meet again. Vicente, you would be missed by all of us. R.I.P
Begona, Vicente Jr. & Fatima, Our thoughts and prayers are with you!

I had the privilege of working with Vicente right at the start of my career at EM. He was a kind, and gentle soul, and he always had time to stop and speak with me. He was very recognizable in his red Porsche, and we talked about sports cars a lot! Rest in peace Vicente, you will be dearly missed.

We will forever cherish fond memories of our conversations and your excellent restaurant and dish recommendations.

You are an exemplary couple, a true partnership in marriage and parenthood. You have raised wonderful children who will be a great example of Vicente's legacy and a strong support for Begoña.

Thank you for staying close whenever possible. For embracing Julen like another son on the ski trips to Colorado.

Thank you, Vicente, especially for your great love for my dear cousin Begoña. These will be sad times with your passing, but we will always remember your affection and friendship for our family and friends.

Vicente, it was a joy every time we witnessed your culinary skills, especially seeing how much you enjoyed it... and the delicious meals you always prepared.

Vicente,

You are the best home cooking Chef I know. You truly lived and enjoyed life with family and friends. Thank you for your friendship and generosity. We miss you!

My heart was broken when I heard about Vicente. I worked for him on two separate occasions, and he was always so jovial, and always tried to make me laugh. He was a joy to be around, and taught me so much. I will always remember him as one of my favorites. I know that he will be very missed at Exxonmobil as he made such an impact on so many lives there, including me. May you rest in peace Vicente until we meet again.

Brenda Heitzman
