Vicki Lee Klawinski, 65, of Spring, Texas, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on the evening of November 3, 2019.

Vicki was born on March 11, 1954 in Alamogordo, New Mexico to her parents, Jack and Jackie Davis. Her parents moved back to Texas and she grew up in the Houston area with her sister, Judy and brother, Mike. Vicki was very active in her church growing up and graduated from MacArthur High School, where she met her high school sweetheart, and future husband, David Klawinski. During their 29-year marriage, they had two children, Michael and Kristen Klawinski.

Vicki received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Houston and enjoyed a career teaching Chemistry at several high schools, including Klein Oak High School, Royse City High School, and Commerce High School. When she was not teaching, she enjoyed reading, and spending her time with family and friends. She loved traveling with family and friends when able, especially to Santa Fe, New Mexico where she felt most at peace. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver for her family, including both of her parents until they passed last year.

Vicki is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Jackie Davis. She is survived by her children, Kristen Klawinski and Michael Klawinski; her grandchildren, Ethan Klawinski, Trenton Poindexter and Jensen Walker; her siblings, Judy Smith and Mike Davis, and many other loving family and friends.

Vicki and I have been friends since 7th grade. She was one of my best friends. However, she was more like a sister to me. I loved her so much. After we married and our paths of life drew us farther and farther apart, we were not able to talk or see each other as much, we tried to keep in touch. At those times, it was as if we had never been apart. It would take a few minutes to catch up, but then it felt like we had never been apart. She was so sweet, but she would quietly let me know how she really felt about something. Of course, I would do the same thing but not as quietly! We would share things with one another and know we could trust the other one to keep it to ourselves. When I heard Vicki had passed away, I took it very badly. I knew she was with the other angels in Heaven, but being very selfish, I knew I would miss her very much. I did and will miss my sweet friend
very much. Vicki, rest peacefully and tell all those we have lost before you hello, and hopefully the rest of us will see them soon. I am praying that all of your family and friends will find peace as they say good-bye to you. I love you dear friend.

Vicki, my dearest and best friend for 50 years, the sister I never had. Too many memories of her to share. She was my confidant and always had my back. She loved my kids and I love hers. We took trips together and had so much fun; shared many good times and bad. I am so blessed to have had Vicki love me unconditionally. She was humble, never thinking she was better than anyone else. And that girl loved to shop; she loved to watch old movies; she loved mexican food; she loved to give to her family and friends. She was a dedicated teacher; her students were lucky to have her wisdom and guidance. Vicki was the daughter every parent would hope for; the mother and grandmother every child needs and wants. I miss my friend until we meet again.

Prayers for comfort to all friends and family that knew Vicki. I'm thankful for all the angels that were with her in her last days caring for her. I'm relieved she is now at peace and in Heaven with her parents. I am so glad I was able to see you a few years ago and I look forward to seeing you again one day soon!
