Vickie Gail Mitchell

Vickie Gail Mitchell, 65, of Spring, TX, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026, in her home in Spring, TX. Vickie was born on February 17, 1961, in Lubbock, TX, to Frank McMillin and Sandra Szczesniak. Vickie’s family later moved to Humble, TX where she met and married her husband, John Mitchell. Vickie was a loving wife, mother, family member and friend whose selflessness and love touched many lives. She had a passion for fishing, diamond art and reading.

She was preceded in death by her mother Sandra Szczesniak, Stepfather Robert Szczesniak, sister Christina Dawn Ainsworth and Father Frank McMillin. She is survived by her husband John Mitchell, Daughters Amanda (Michael) Barajas, Danielle Mitchell, Ashley Mitchell, Brother Robert (Angela) Szczesniak, grandchildren Marcus Barajas, Erik Barajas, Eli Byrd and Ava Martinez, Aunt Connie Beard, and Sister-in-Laws Sandra (Curtiss) Ishee, Lynn (Rick) Canales, Margaret (Brad) Jackson along with many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home & Cemetery, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384, US, on August 13, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
