Victor B. de los Santos was born July 9, 1947 at home in Mission, Texas. He died at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital on March 26th at 2:20pm. Vic was proceeded in death by his Mother Carmen Saenz de los Santos and Father Henry de los Santos. A 1966 graduate of Houston's Smiley High School, he attended Christopher College of Corpus Christi. Drafted during the Vietnam War, he served NATO forces stationed in Carlu, Turkey. In 1974 he married loving wife Lynda Redmon Trocmet and later had three sons. Vic sold Southwestern Bell Yellow Page advertising until starting his own business, Promo International. He had a passion for sports and played on a men's league soccer team as well as coaching his sons' soccer teams. He cherished the Northampton neighborhood and volunteered for many community activities. Vic was a devoted Eagle scout and nurtured the scouting spirit in all his sons. Vic was an avid traveller. Some of his favorite trips were to Maui, Vancouver, South Dakota, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, Yellowstone, and Alaska. He also enjoyed camping the Texas Hill Country and fishing the Texas Gulf Coast. He is survived by wife Lynda, son Charles and partner Brad, son Christian and wife Jacqui, and son Stephen and girlfriend Rachel. Vic held close his friends of the Yellow Page "Brotherhood", military friend Ron Wagner, and siblings Pilar, Carmen, Danny, Joe, Jerry, Teresa, Marti, and Cyndi, their spouses, children, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will take place on Friday, March 30th from 6:00-8:00pm. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 31st at 1:00pm with light refreshments to follow at Forest Park The Woodlands 18000 I-45 South The Woodlands, TX 77384. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Boy Scouts of America.
