He was born in Brookhaven Mississippi on December 1, 1932, to James J. Mullen and Francis Bertoli Mullen. He married the love of his life Yvonne Roane on October 28,1950.
Victor (VJ), (Moon) Mullen was a Lineman, Foreman, Supervisor, and Contract Coordinator for Houston Lighting and Power Company for 43 years.
He had a passion for Football and Coaching.
He was preceded in death by his wife Yvonne after 64 years of marriage, grandson Stephen Dossett Jr., brother Louis Mullen, sister Cora Herring.
He is survived by his son Victor J. Mullen Jr., wife Janice, daughter Lisa Dossett, son-in-law Stephen Dossett Sr., great grandson Brandon Dossett, grand-daughter Stephenie Munson, husband LaMont Munson, great grandsons Noah Cisnero, London Munson, great grand-daughters Lexie Munson, Sophie Munson. Grand-daughter Jennifer Bertnick, husband Joe Bertnick, great grand-daughter Jessica Lewis, husband Alex Lewis, great great grandson Asher Lewis, great great grand-daughter Scarlett Lewis. Nephews; Bruce Roane, wife Nancy, Barry Maddox, wife Linda, Wayne Maddox, wife Lori, Tony Mullen, Charles Herring, Jimmy Herring, Drew Herring, Timothy Cox, and niece Amy Brennan, husband James Brennan.
Viewing will be Sunday March 13, 2022 from 3-5 pm at Forest Park The Woodlands, 18000 Interstate 45S, The Woodlands, TX 77384. Mass Service will be Monday March 14, 2022 at 11:30 am at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church The Woodlands.
