Paul was born in San Antonio, TX on March 11,1952, and moved to Houston when he was 5. He graduated from Lamar High School in Houston, TX.
Paul was married to Rebecca (Becky) Tolar on January 20th, 1973; they were married 40 years. Paul and Becky have been inseparable since they first met when they were 15 and she was the love of his life.
Paul is survived by wife Becky Tolar, his son Christopher Trey Tolar and wife Kelly Tolar of Tomball, TX, daughter Kimberly Tolar of Montgomery, TX, grandchildren Connor Tolar, Allie Tolar, Ashton Tolar, and Reese Tolar, Brothers Bruce Tolar and Craig Tolar and Wife Myrna, Sister Susan Richards and husband JR, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.
Paul is preceded in death by his father Charles Tolar and his mother Patricia Tolar.
Over the years Paul has befriended and touched so many lives. Whether it was through his love of cook-offs, his insane love for fishing, great golf game or his ability to be the life of the party, Paul will be remembered by so many people.
His unselfish attitude towards others was his most famous trait and that is how he will always be remembered as a loving unselfish husband, father, grandfather and friend.
