William Raymond Jensen, age 93, of The Woodlands, TX, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2016. He was born in Erie, PA on October 19, 1922. He attended Houghton College with the intention of becoming a preacher before WWII took him to Europe where he trained bombardiers on the Sperry Bombsight. It was during his time in England when he met his bride, Patricia Curry, and it was love at first sight. They were married in 1944. After the war, William realized his calling was in engineering so he attended the Lowell Institute which was affiliated with MIT. He received certificates in both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. He had a lifelong love of figuring out new technology and a career in making factory processes run as efficiently as possible. An avid Christ follower, he and his wife raised their 3 children with Biblical principles and unconditional love. William is preceded in death by his wife and his oldest son, David. He is survived by his son Brian, daughter Jennifer Griffin, 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held at The Woodlands United Methodist Church on Monday, April 18 at 2:00pm.
