Willie Carl Roberson Jr.

Robby was born on June 8, 1940, in Fairfield, Alabama. He attended Hueytown High School and proudly graduated while serving in the United States Navy after enlisting in 1957. He faithfully served his country for six years as a Gunner's Mate Seaman (GMSN) aboard the USS Samuel N. Moore.

He married JoAnn on January 18, 1986 and celebrated 40 years together.

Robby was a man of many trades and skills and had a lifelong career in the oilfield industry before retiring from Ensco in 2015.

He was a devoted Freemason for more than 50 years, a proud member of the Inspectors General Knights Commander, House of the Temple, Thirty-second Degree of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Southern Jurisdiction, U.S.A. His lifelong commitment to the principles of brotherhood, integrity, and service reflected the values by which he lived and the legacy he leaves behind.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Carl Roberson and Evelyn Roberson; his brother, Timothy Roberson; and his sister, Janice Roberson

He is survived by his loving wife, JoAnn Roberson. Children: Cathy Helget and husband Gary Helget, Carl Timothy Roberson, Vance Roberson, Lisa Roberson, Kim Perkins and husband Jeff Perkins, and Joe Maggard and wife Betsy Maggard. Grandchildren: Crystal Axel and husband TJ Axel, Tom Bagwell and wife Shauna Bagwell, Brandy Trudeau and husband Travis Trudeau, Kassy Hernandez and husband John Hernandez, Kaylie Perkins, Liam Petru, Haley Roberson and Fiancé Tristan Eldridge, and Rachel DeMarco. Great-grandchildren: Haven, Phoenix, Kreegan, Torren, Nicholas, Bradley, Emily, Keith, Chase, Chance, Kaliyah, Levi, and Ryder.

Siblings: Russ Roberson and wife Terri Roberson, Ron Roberson, and Dianna Miller and husband Bob Miller.
