After meeting in Ulsan, South Korea, Yoojin married Ian Davies on February 19, 2011 in Melbourne, Australia. From there they moved to Lagos, Nigeria for Ian’s work. After 7 1/2 years in Nigeria they relocated to The Woodlands.
Yoojin was fiercely loyal to her family and friends. She had a great sense of humor and was a tenacious problem solver. She was well loved by those who had the honor to know her.
In addition to keeping a wonderful home. Yoojin had many interests and always strived to be the best at what she did. She was a master gardener, creative quilter and a great cook.
She is survived by her husband Ian Davies, of The Woodlands, stepdaughter Tess Davies of Sydney, Australia, stepson Lachlan Davies of Melbourne, of Australia, mother Myung hee Ahn, sisters Hoejin Shin, Hyejin Shin and cousin Dang Woo, all of Ulsan, South Korea. Preceded in death by father Jong su Shin.
A Celebration of Life service will be held July 17, 2024 at 1:00pm at Restoration Church, 107 Fish Creek Thoroughfare, Montgomery, TX 77316
