Dear Betti and family,

Its hard at times like this to find the right words to express our thoughts and feelings.
You have suffered a great loss which will also be felt by everyone who knew Gene.  Our faith in God tells us that he is in a much better place, but we still will miss him. It also will give us the strength to continue on and remember him as he was prior to this event.
We'll never forget his friendly, warm smile. It will be hard for us to look east and not see our dear neighbor of  forty plus years.

Betti, I am at a loss for words.  No words will help take away what you feel at this time.  I knew Gene through you and every time I would see the both of you, you had smiles on your face and glimmer in your eyes as you shared laughs with ones around you. It is impossible to see this picture and that smile and not smile back.  This is a man that loved life, but most of all loved his family.  My sincere sympathy for your loss ...Will be thinking of you Chris.

Memories of Gene Woyak will live on forever at Schwaab! You could always count on him for a laugh whether it be the fire alarm going off by accident, or the stories of how he got the cut on the top of his head, or his great driving skills with the lawn mower or golf cart. The love he had for you Betti and the kids and then the grandkids he talked about them everyday. He will be missed.

Dear Mrs. Woyak, Terri, Geno, Chris, Boop and the rest of your families,

I want you all to know my heart felt condolences regarding your husband and Dad.  He was truly a wonderful man.  I remember, especially, the times I use to go camping with your family.  What good times were had.  He made me feel like part of your family.  It was something I looked forward to every year and something I will treasure in the archives of my memory, forever.  He will be sadly missed by so many people.  His warm and friendly spirit will live on in all of us.  Please know you are all in my prayers and thoughts during this difficult mourning process.  I can only hope that during these difficult times you all can find joy in his memory and smile (even slightly) knowing he is now pain free, safe, and in Gods loving arms.

Betti I want to send my most sincere and heartfelt condolences to you and your family. I knew Gene way back when we went to Boys Tech. We had some great times at Pulaski playground when we lived on the East Side. I am glad that I was able to visit with Gene shortly before he passed on. Dennis Ostrowski
