

Roger Blaine Wickland age 62 of Port Washington passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on Wednesday July 23, 2014. He was born April 27, 1952 in Hayward, WI the son of Blaine and Mary (nee Schmutzer) Wickland. He graduated from Hayward High School in 1970, and was a graduate of UW-Superior. Roger recently retired from his longtime employer FIS/Metavante and was looking forward to pursuing his passion for golf by moving to North Carolina. He was also a dedicated member of Lumen Christi Catholic Church. Preceded in death by his soul mate Susan Kay Young Wickland, and his parents. Survivors include his sisters; Linda (Paddy) Steavenson of Hayward, WI, Janet (Jim Cook) Cribbins of Philadelphia, PA and Diane (Will Jones) Leighty of Hayward, WI, step-sons; Mark (Annette) Geisler of Mazomanie, WI and David (Michelle) Geisler of Mount Horeb, WI, step-grandchildren; Jacob, MacKenzie, MacKaela, Dawson and Braeden, nieces and nephew; Sara (Adam) Smith, Michael (Kaitlin) Steavenson, Holly Cribbins and Erica Leighty. He will be deeply missed by his relatives and friends on and off the golf course and the Wolf’s, his second family. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM on Saturday July 26, 2014 at Lumen Christi Catholic Church, 2700 W. Mequon Rd, Mequon, WI 53092. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends on Sat. at the church from 9:30 AM until time of Mass and at a reception to be held afterwards.
