Rudolph J. Kirchberger

Rudolph J. Kirchberger, longtime resident of the Thiensville-Mequon area. Born to Eternal Life January 14, 2012 age 91 years. Beloved husband for 69 years of Doris (nee Haasch). Preceded in death by his daughter Joan (Robert) Ehrhardt, son Donald Kirchberger, brother Walter (Ellen) Kirchberger, and sister Marie Ketter. Dear father of Mary (Peter) Krol. Loving grandfather of Jennifer (Shane) Gilbertson, Matthew Drake, Rebecca and Jon Ehrhardt, and Jackie Osborne. Loving great-grandfather of Mathias, Isaac, Ava and Julia. Fond Uncle of Gary, John and Jim Kirchberger. Also survived by other relatives and friends. Rudy was born in Milwaukee. The family moved to Thiensville in 1967. He was a proud Marine Corps Veteran of WW II. Rudy owned his own typography business in downtown Milwaukee for over 25 years. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends and will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and friend to all.

Visitation Friday January 20, 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at Grace Lutheran Church, 303 Green Bay Rd., Thiensville, with a Funeral Service at 1:30 pm. Private burial Immanuel Cemetery, Cedarburg. Memorials to Grace Lutheran Church in Thiensville or the Howard J. Schroeder American Legion Post 457 in Mequon.
