Mr. Alfred Darrell Boals, 72, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016.
Darrell was born on March 7, 1944 in Hocking, Ohio to the late Alfred and June Hayden Boals. For many years, Darrell had worked as a salesman and he was a veteran of the US Army, having served as a paratrooper.
In addition to his parents, Darrell was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Dye Boals, brothers, Terry and Guy Boals, and sister, Ginny Myers.
Surviving are son, Tony Davis (Deanna) of New Lexington Ohio; daughter, Kristy Holland of Athens, Ohio; stepson, John Elgin (Kim); brothers, Steve Boals (Kathy) of Florida and Bob Boals (Sally) of Ohio; sister, Loretta Dabney (Tom) of Ohio; six grandchildren; and his dear friends of the Chair City Cruisers Car Club.
A celebration of Darrell’s life will be held at 11 am Saturday in the chapel of Thomasville Funeral Home with Blair Ludwig officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.
