Andy Marcus Harrison

Andy was born November 29, 1946 in Guilford County to the late James Lloyd and Dorothy Louise Leonard Harrison. He married the love of his life, Reba Davis Harrison, on September 16, 1989. He was a resident of Thomasville, NC for 53 years before moving to Myrtle Beach, SC in 1999.

Andy worked for Lilly-Valsper for 32 years as a QA lab supervisor. He was a member of Fairgrove Lions Club for 16 years and held several offices, as well as president. Andy was an active member of Living Water Baptist Church in Longs, SC, and was a member of Men’s Ministry. He also loved to deer hunt.

Andy is survived by his beloved wife Reba; daughters, Terri Harrison of Southmont, Angela Hodges and husband Dennis of Wallburg, Melanie Bielski and husband John of Washington, DC; son, Marcus Allen Harrison of Trinity; sister, Faye Baity and husband Dale of Thomasville; grandchildren, Brinley, Evan, Craig , David, Allen, Michael, Dustin, Misty, Kelly, Ashley; great grandchild, Kayleigh Lyn.

The family will receive friends Thursday July 14, 2011 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Thomasville Funeral Home. A Chapel Service will follow at 2:00 pm with Reverend Lebron Crisp and Reverend Dr. John Goudelock officiating; followed with Interment at Floral Gardens Memorial Park in High Point.
