Ann Lovell Pellish

She was born on April 8, 1926 in Haywood County, to Ernest Wilson Love and Eva Miller Love.

Ann owned & operated Ann's Day Care Center, Thomasville, NC for fifteen years while a single mother raising her own five children. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend; she was loved by all who knew her. Ann loved life and lived each day to the fullest as if it were her last, while leading an active and devoted Christian life. The family would like to recognize & give special thanks to friends who made her life more comfortable and full-filling, including Dorita Arias, Personal Trainer, and Sharon Sink, Caregiver, Hospice at High Point, Drs., Nurses & Staff, and most definitely her dear friend of sixty years, Opal Frye of High Point, NC.

Ann is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Professor Maxwell C. Pellish of Santa Barbara, CA; brothers, Ernest "Buster" Love, Jr., James "Jimmy" Love, William "Billy" Love, and Douglas Love; sisters, Joyce "Joy" Love Butler, Ruthie Love Brewer, and Carol Love Pierce Broadway.

She is survived by sons; Robert M. Lovell, Jr. and his wife Pam of Thomasville NC, Gary S. Lovell and his wife Bonnie of Trinity, NC; daughters, Ronda Lovell Lowe of Greensboro, NC, Lori Lovell of Trinity, NC, Lisa Lovell Hutchins of Trinity, NC; loving and adored brother, Stuart M. Love of Asheboro, NC; six grandchildren, John "Caleb" Everhart, Ashley McElroy, Jake Lowe, Coleman Hutchins, Levi and Eva Lovell; one great-grandchild, Hunter C. Morgan.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Monday, November 8, 2010 at Thomasville Funeral Home, 18 Randolph Street Thomasville, NC. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Thomasville Funeral Home Chapel with Senior Pastor Dr. Darryl Craft and Mr. Richard Hardee officiating; interment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park.

The family will gather at the home of Robert and Pam Lovell after the committal on Tuesday.
