Billy Pelton "Joe" Shadrick, 81, passed away August 30, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Joe was born February 9, 1931 in Quitman, Georgia to the late Lon and Frances Hines Shadrick. He was a member of Deep River Church of Christ in High Point. Joe was the owner of Housing Management Inc. in Lexington and Dalcor Management Inc. out of Huntsville, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Lon Shadrick. Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Eloise Avriett Shadrick of the home; son, Michael Shadrick and his wife Jaynie; daughters, Sheri Maynard and husband Rick, Tangi Crotts and her husband Tony; grandchildren, Mandi Basile and her husband John, Ashley Strobel and her husband John, Dustin Maynard and his wife Ashley, Kasey Shadrick, Kori Shadrick and Kenny Shadrick; great grandchildren, Amy, Adam, Isaiah, Eli and Kayden.
The family will receive friends Sunday, September 2, 2012 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at Thomasville Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will follow at 3:30 p.m. in Holly Hill Memorial Park.
