Carol Rumple Hartman

Carol Rumple Hartman, age 90, of Thomasville, North Carolina passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025. Carol was born on December 15, 1934, in Davidson County, NC, daughter of the late John and Virgie Bean Rumple. Carol was a beloved wife, mother, mamaw, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

On her journey through life, Carol found her soulmate in Franklin Hartman. Their love was a beautiful testament to partnership. Together, they nurtured a loving home that welcomed their three children: Johnny, Jane, and Kevin.

Carol enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid reader, loved cooking for her family, and had a green thumb, working in her garden and flowers. As we remember her, we celebrate a life well-lived, full of love, laughter, and devotion. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and compassion that will continue to inspire all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Franklin Hartman; sons, Johnny Hartman (Cathy), Kevin Hartman (Dana); daughter, Jane Green (Danny); grandchildren, Allison Martin, Preston Green, Luke Hartman, Morgan Hartman; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 pm, at Sechrest-Davis Funerals and Cremations, 18 Randolph St, Thomasville, NC 27360. Funeral will be Friday, August 1, 2025, at 2:00 pm, Sechrest-Davis Funerals and Cremations, 18 Randolph St., Thomasville, NC 27360.
