Cathy Beck Sanders

A resident of this area all of her life, Cathy was born on May 25, 1950 in Thomasville to Lloyd C. Beck and Dorothy Lovett Beck. Cathy was of the Baptist Faith and an avid reader. She was the loving wife of Robert Sanders and especially enjoyed taking trips to the beach. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Beck.

Surviving is her husband, Robert Sanders of the home; daughter, Crystal Smith of Thomasville; sons, James Robert Sanders, Jr. of Thomasville and Justin David Sanders and his wife Sabrina of Thomasville; grandchildren, Adam Michael Sanders, Allyssa Danielle Lemonds, Jayme Nicole Sanders, Kourtney Anne Sanders, and Brent Michael Sanders. Also surviving is her father, Lloyd C. Beck and step-mother Mary Beck of Thomasville; sister, Brenda Byrd and her husband Sammy of Thomasville; and brothers, L. C. Beck, Jr., and Robert David Beck, both of Thomasville.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6 until 8 pm Monday, December 23, 2013 at Thomasville Funeral Home, 18 Randolph Street, Thomasville and other times at Cathy and Robert’s home.
