Fred was born July 21, 1924 in Davidson County to the late Reid and Claudie Scarlett Hepler.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Hollis Hepler, Gene Hepler and nephew Tony Hepler.
Fred is survived by his beloved wife Ellen Skeen Hepler of the home; son, Wayne Hepler; grandchildren, Ken Hepler of Cedar Lodge, Angela Jarret of Trinity, Melissa Brady of Archdale; great grandchildren, Josh Hepler, Justin Hepler, Brooke Jarrett, Bradley Jarrett, Ryan Brady; brother, Loyd Hepler and wife Norma; sisters, Doris Duncan and husband C. Harden, Inez Swing and Clarice Phillips and husband James and nephew and Terry Hepler.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 pm Monday, December 3, 2012 at Thomasville Funeral Home followed by a Chapel Service at 2:00 pm with Pastor Gary Myers officiating; burial will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
