Reverend Fred Miller

Reverend Fred D. Miller 83 Passed away on Saturday July 23, 2011 at Lexington Health Care in Lexington. Born on January 25, 1928 in Guilford County to Bert L. Miller and Cora Ellen Miller. Preceded in death by his parents and sisters; Margaret Driggers, Norma Land, Dorothy Collins, Josephine Beeson, Mary Hoover, Boots Rush, brother; Bert Leo Miller and David S. Miller. Fred proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII, managed Advance auto parts for 15 years and was a pastor for 40 years. Fred was a loving husband and father and an adoring grandfather. He never met a stranger, and was always able to share his faith and his ministry. Survived by his loving wife Lottie Miller of the home, son David Miller and his wife Sue of Troy, 1 grand child and 3 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday July 26, 2011 at Thomasville Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday July 27, 2011 at Southside Baptist Church with Pastor Tommy R. Sizemore officiating followed by interment in Holly Hill Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the staff of Lexington Health Care for their care and compassion during our time of need. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Baptist Children’s Home of North Carolina P.O. Box 338 Thomasville, NC 27360.

Mr Miller was a resident at Lexington health care with my Grandmother.I enjoyed talking to him I will miss seeing him there and talking to him Im the boy he talk to at lexington health care

Mr. Miller was one of my customers when I worked at the nissan dealership, I loved for him and Mrs. Miller to come into visit. Mrs. Miller I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
